about the studio
There is a particular kind of joy in picking up a game on a slow afternoon. The kettle is on. The phone is face-down somewhere. You sit down, the world gets a little smaller, and for a while the only thing that matters is the next move.
Schaumburst exists to make more of those afternoons. We build games meant to be enjoyed — on the couch after a long day, on a flight, on a Sunday morning before anyone else is up. Games that are happy to see you whenever you come back, and just as happy to wait when you don't.
Our titles are designed to be played at your pace and left at your pace. A few minutes is enough. An hour is welcome. The point is that you had a good time, and that the rest of your day is still yours.

We don't ship anything that isn't actually fun to play. How it feels to play comes first, polish comes before scope, and an idea only earns a release if it makes us want to play it ourselves. Our roadmap ranges from focused arcade-style titles to deeper, feature-rich experiences.
